The buttons came from a massive collection that my friend inherited from her great aunt. I call it the Breakfast on Pluto sweater because it looks like Patricia Kitten’s festive Catholic school sweater from that movie. I set this piece aside for several months, after finishing the the sleeve in March. I felt it needed some other detail, besides the cool buttons. When I took it up again last week, the idea hit me that it would be cool to use a gradient of rainbow embroidery thread. Women’s size XS.
